Mail orders paid by check will be delayed until the check clears. All hardware returns must be authorized by Adventure Foods and used hardware will be accessed a 25% restocking fee. Due to requirements by Homeland Security regarding our documentation of all food products and ingredients, we no longer accept returns of food products.
Weight of meal items (entrees, desserts, side dishes, etc.) is net weight of dry food, not the rehydrated weight. Serving size of meal items is rehydrated and cooked PER SERVING, not per package. Nutritional data on meal items is PER SERVING, not per package.
Bulk foods are sold in quantities from 1/4 lb. up. The price is for one POUND of that item. The net weight category of bulk foods is the net weight PER CUP of the bulk food item, this will allow you to calculate food volume (for packing space or recipe needs) before ordering. Nutritional data on bulk food items is PER CUP of the food.
No preservatives are ever added to our offerings (no sulfates, sulfites, nitrates nor nitrites, etc.). Unfortunately, menu items with sausage, ham and surimi in them, do already have preservatives used in the curing of the meat.
Special nutritional blends for diabetics and persons with lactose or gluten intolerance can be developed and packaged by Adventure Foods, the additional cost is a modest $ .50 per package. Developing new blends does take time, so please order early as we have not created alternatives to all of our offerings yet.
Shipping charge: actual UPS ground charges, with no extra handling or packaging charges. This is not a profit center for our company!
Please reuse our zip closure exterior bags. You may freeze them, boil them and microwave them. They can safely carry extra water on the trail too. Please, when the zip seal fails, recycle them at your recycling center. Adventure Foods labels are printed on the back, please recycle them as post cards or keep your adventure notes on them.
Please, pack out your trash & reuse/recycle packaging!
